Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
CCPA/CPRA and State Privacy Law Rights
Your Right to Opt Out
Under state privacy laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), and similar laws, you have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
Pulln Does Not Sell Your Personal Information
Important disclosure: Pulln does not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA and other state privacy laws.
- We do not exchange personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration.
- We use personal data only for the purposes disclosed in our Privacy Policy: event invitations, RSVP management, check-in, and essential service functionality.
- Third-party services we use (Supabase for database, Cloudinary for images, Resend for email, Sentry for error monitoring) are data processors acting on our behalf under contractual agreements. They do not use your data for their own purposes.
- Consent-gated third-party embeds: The public event page may display a Google Maps venue map. This embed is gated behind explicit consent (a click-to-load placeholder appears first). Once you opt in, Google receives your IP address and sets Google cookies. Google acts as an independent controller for that traffic, not a processor on our behalf. You can decline the embed via the consent banner or by not clicking the placeholder. This does not constitute a "sale" under CCPA/CPRA because you control whether the embed loads.
- We do not participate in ad networks, cross-context behavioral advertising, or data broker activities that would constitute "sharing" under CPRA.
If our data practices change in the future such that they would constitute a sale or sharing under applicable law, we will update this page and our Privacy Policy, and provide a functional opt-out mechanism before any such sale or sharing occurs.
How to Exercise Your Rights
Even though we do not currently sell or share personal information, you can still exercise your other privacy rights at any time:
Right to Know (Access)
Request a copy of the personal information we have collected about you, including categories of data, sources, purposes, and third parties to whom it has been disclosed.
Right to Delete
Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions and retention requirements.
Right to Correct
Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@pulln.io with the subject line "State Privacy Law Request". We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable state law (typically 45 days, with one 45-day extension if needed).
No Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights. You will not be denied service, charged different prices, or provided a different level or quality of service solely because you exercised your privacy rights.
Authorized Agent
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. The agent must provide written proof of authorization, and we may require you to verify your identity directly with us or confirm that you gave the agent permission.
Appeal Process
If we decline your request, you may appeal our decision by contacting us at privacy@pulln.io with "Privacy Request Appeal" in the subject line. Depending on your state, you may also have the right to contact your state attorney general to submit a complaint.
